I was born in Pesaro in 1953 and received a diploma in art from the Accademia di Belle Arti, Urbino in 1978.
Since then, and until 1996, I worked in the pipe producing companies Mastro de Paja and Ser Jacopo and contemporarily dedicated time to interior decorating and painting.
‘Le Nuvole‘ was founded in 1996, and is an expression of the synthesis between previous experiences and the desire to create my own product where my artistic vision could be expressed. Attention to form, the details and finishing were inspirational elements for me and have always stimulated my work. Over the years I have become more painstaking in my work and been have compelled to ever more careful working to obtain even more precious and well finished pipes.
From the very beginning of the ‘Le Nuvole‘ project I received unexpected and profitable collaboration. First of all was the contribution my wife Stefania gave me. Almost as a game she began doodling pipes everywhere (and still does), revealing an fresh, uncontaminated vision, able to introduce original shapes and to define the line‘s own style. Another determining factor was meeting an American friend who introduced me to the virtual world and suggested electronic commerce as a possibility for marketing.
